Job Description

  • Provide exceptional, best in class customer service to all Priority Guests at all Priority touchpoints.
  • Represent the WestJet brand with professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm.
  • Greet and assist Priority Guests with check-in, reaccomodation or ticketing needs at Priority Check-In, the Guest Assistance Desk, the Elevation Lounge, and the 787 operation.
  • As required, the PSA may be engaged to provide gate support.
  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise on all WestJet Rewards and Premium Product information.
  • Provide guest assistance for service recovery, handling of guest complaints, WestJet Rewards inquiries and transactions, flight booking transactions, and general inquiries for flight information, directions, and the lounge offering.
  • Monitor and provide feedback on the lounge operation and offering by our third party contract handler.
Essential qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer service related field.
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in Airports.
  • Fluent in the English language, both oral and written with a preference given to applicants fluently bilingual (French and/or any 2nd language)
  • Flexibility to work shift work which may include early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Sabre check-in and ticketing skills
  • Proficient in PC-based applications, Teams, Excel and Outlook
Additional assets:
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to food, beverages, and food safety
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and the hospitality industry as a whole
  • Knowledge of WestJet Rewards program
  • College/university degree in hospitality or a related field considered an asset
  • Previous airport lounge experience considered an asset
  • Previous experience in elevated service in hospitality industry considered an asset
