Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with a solid background in Electrical Equipment Manufacturing or a similar industry to join our client on a permanent basis. This individual will oversee the successful execution of projects, managing everything from reviewing RFQ packages to coordinating material and labor costing.   • Evaluate assigned RFQ packages to ensure the information meet the requested scope. Provide timely responses to clients with the intent to bid when applicable.
  • Establish material and labor costs, determine supplier pricing, and assess lead times for required materials and equipment. Ensure materials are purchased and delivered on time to meet production schedules and optimize productivity.
  • Create detailed quotes that align with RFQ requirements. Resolve any necessary clarifications, define supplier data and documentation requirements, and ensure that all terms and conditions are acceptable.
  • Review customer purchase orders and any subsequent changes or add-ons, ensuring that the scope, terms, and conditions match the approved quote.
  • Maintain and organize key project documents.
  • Manage all aspects of project execution in an efficient and timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate communication between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, monitor production progress, and attend project meetings (both internal and external) to track status.
  • Implement effective change management practices, including managing scope changes, securing customer approvals for design alterations, controlling drawing revisions, and communicating these changes to relevant parties.
  • Oversee product shipping requirements, including crating, crane lifts, packing list creation, and customer shipping releases.
  • Generate invoices for project milestones, prepare project close-out reports, and issue final invoices (including any add-ons and change orders). Complete monthly project reporting.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Project Management within the Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industry (or similar fields).
  • Strong understanding of technical processes and ability to prepare detailed quotes and cost estimates.
  • Experience in managing budgets, schedules, and cross-functional teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with project management software tools and best practices.
