We’re seeking a talented Property Coordinator / Manager to join our growing team. What are we looking for
  • Self-starter who finds their own way
  • Inquisitive and curious team members
  • Able to easily adopt new technology and innovative business solutions
  • Designations including RECA License, RPA, FMA, or Land Surveyor considered an asset
  • Previous experience with land or residential property management
  • Basic knowledge of small facilities building systems (electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, life safety, HVAC, landscaping, snow removal, caretaking, etc.)
  • Knowledge of small project management processes
  • Working knowledge of computer mapping systems (Google Earth, Land Titles, SPIN, legal land surveys, Alberta Township Survey systems (ATS), etc.)
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Must have a vehicle, such as a SUV or truck, which can handle rough terrain
What will you do
  • With the support of the Contract Director, strategize and implement risk limiting measures for Government owned land.
  • As an effective steward of the land, you would regularly visit the land around Calgary to inspect and report your findings to the Government. Deficiencies include broken fences, missing signage, evidence of trespass etc. Land inspections would take approximately 40%-60% of your time.
  • Government owned sites include agricultural, surface, residential leases and licenses throughout Calgary and Southern Alberta.
  • Minor travel will periodically be required including day trips to Southern Alberta for inspections and meetings.
  • Obtain pricing for repairs and maintenance for the land sites and leases. Coordinate services to sites via subcontractors and or internal, Edon resources.
  • Monitor expenditures to meet budget expectations.
  • Complete internal/external reporting.
  • Create, implement, and monitor the execution of the risk management plan.
  • Assist with the development/implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Ensure satisfaction of Quality Assurance standards or monthly KPI’s
