Job Description

CompanyICE Western started back in 1991 in Calgary, Alberta.We manufacture a highly complex Custom HVAC units for commercial and industrial market, worldwide.Over the years, sales have increased dramatically and now ICE Western has a state of the art industrial manufacturing facility located on 5 acres in South Foothills Industrial Park Calgary Alberta. In May 2016, we added an extra 40,000 square feet addition to our existing facility, allowing us to address the demand for our products. Please apply.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and track order confirmations and delivery dates for all Purchase orders
  • Expedite all purchase orders for production including inventory items
  • Run reports to review order status
  • Work with suppliers to ensure all orders arrive on time
  • Participate in weekly production meetings and provide updates on all outstanding items for the jobs.
  • Prioritize orders based on production schedule.
  • Communicate with purchasing department to source alternatives for delayed items.
  • Arrange transportation of material and components from the suppliers (LTL, FTL and partial truck loads)
  • Tracking shipments online and via phone
  • Solve any issues related to shipping delays
  • Purchase order receipts in the system
  • Arrange transportation of equipment to sites (LTL, FTL and patrial truck loads)
  • Request quotes from carriers and ensure competitive rates are obtained.
  • Coordinate delivery with customers, answer customer queries.
  • Customs documentation for US bound shipments.
  • Monitoring shipment costs and timelines.
  • Establish a system for appointments for pick ups with shipping department.
  • Address and resolve shipment issues
Job Qualifications
  • Bachelors or Associates degree in business
  • Incredible attention to detail
  • Ability to work with an ERP system
  • Basic understanding of different type of trucks that can be used to ship equipment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office to update reports on an ongoing basis.
  • Ability to collaborate with many different teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Dynamic and energetic
  • One to three years related experience in manufacturing.
  • Must be organized and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and troubleshoot any challenges that may arise.
