This is a critical role that sets the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of quality. These roadmaps will include but not limited to Automation strategies, Testing efficiency opportunities, test knowledge management and reporting. In addition to the roadmap creation, it is important for this role to promote and mentor the adoption of testing processes that allow for scalability and increased speed to market while maintaining a high standard of quality.The QMO Portfolio Managers is also responsible for creating a culture where Quality is a shared responsibility within the product team. Using their analysis and communication skills to identify opportunities for Product Owners, Developers and Ops Analysts to develop a quality/testing mindset.The QMO Portolfio Manager will setup tools, guidelines and clear objectives while providing autonomy to their QA Analysts to make decisions suitable to the context of their product teams. A key component of this role is identifying sets of standards and guardrails while understanding which product teams it may or may not apply to. Alongside this the governance of these standards and/or guard rails to ensure consistency of defined processes or standards.Key Responsibilities include:Advisory & Solutions
