Job Description

Registered Dental Assistant (Level 2) – Full-Time. Location: Stoney Trail Dental, Calgary, AB. Position: Full-Time.Are you a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (Level 2) looking for an exciting new opportunity Join our skilled and welcoming team at Stoney Trail Dental in Calgary, where we prioritize excellent patient care and teamwork in a modern, well-equipped environment.What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist with sterilization procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
  • Provide patient education on oral care and post-procedure instructions.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Manage the dental operatory to ensure it is properly stocked and organized.
  • Provide administrative support when needed, including patient communication and appointment scheduling.
Requirements:
  • Registered Dental Assistant Level 2 (RDA) with current Alberta certification.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental office.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures and sterilization protocols.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a team.
  • Proficient with Dentrix software is an asset.
  • A positive, patient-centered attitude and a passion for patient care.
