Job Description

Compensation:$65,000-$70,000 DOEWhat will be your daily pursuit:Highlights:/ Reports directly to the Director of Sales/ Salary range $65,000-$70,000 DOE/ Quarterly sales bonus opportunity starting at 15% of base/ Hybrid schedule 3/2 option for office/home/ New downtown Calgary shared services office just opened/ Optional office locations in Banff or Jasper, AB/ Great perks & benefits package/ Excellent growth potential/ Anticipated hire date in September/October of 2022Position SummaryThis role is responsible for the development and performance of sales activities with key clients while striving towards the achievement of maximum profit in line with company vision and values. Working with the Director of Sales, establish plans and strategies to expand the current market.What perks can you expect:

What will you do in this job:
  • Maintain excellent client relationships with assigned accounts
  • Retain and grow existing clients’ book of business
  • Qualify and follow-up on new sales leads
  • Manage daily communication ensuring that excellent customer service is provided, and problem solve issues as they arise, with assistance of the Sales Operations Team
  • Seek out new business opportunities for Banff, Jasper Collection while maintaining and growing existing accounts
  • Provide assessment of new revenue growth opportunities, qualify and secure new clients, close and forecast sales accurately in customer relationship management system
  • Manage customer acquisition and sales process within customer relationship management system daily
  • Manage designated client accounts: Responsible and accountable for client communication directed to the Sales area from internal and external sources, track communication in customer relationship management system
  • Cross sell products to clients to ensure products already set up and contracted are utilized
  • Provide product training to clients
  • Provide competitor and market feedback, including product, price and product placement analysis
  • Attend client meetings either virtually, locally or abroad if required – this may involve attendance at in office meetings, dinners, tradeshows, and sales/FAM trips
  • Ensure Tradeshow follow-up: complete sales reports/action follow up items, document everything in customer relationship management system
  • Manage pre-planned sales trips and initiate business strategies and actions as defined in the sales plans
  • Participate with all sales and marketing personnel and divisional managers on budgets, marketing plans and gathering of business intelligence
  • Provide monthly and year end plan updates with a focus on tactical performance metrics as defined you individual sales plans
  • Meet annual Quota targets and Sales targets
What skills and experience do you need for this job:
  • Minimum 5 years of Travel Trade Sales Manager experience in the hospitality industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools essential (eg.: Excel, Outlook, PPT, Word, Teams)
  • Experience using SalesForce or Delphi platforms
