Job Description

Who are we looking forWe are looking for a mature, motivated, and ambitious person with an entrepreneurial mindset. We are hiring for a part-time/full-time position of 25-40 hours to join our team and looking to learn about a variety of different work experiences.Who are we We are a BRAND NEW Kickboxing Academy opening in Calgary, and we are seeking to involve youth and adults in sport through a high-quality program and world class coaching. Our ultimate goal is to provide access to anyone, regardless of circumstances or obstacles. We believe that fitness, discipline, and life skills should be available and accessible to everyone.Responsibilities of the RoleWe are looking for a jack-of-all-trades who is willing to learn and be responsible for a variety of different aspects of our gym, and is open to career progression and opportunities in the future.Sales

  • Selling memberships or short-term programs/bootcamps
  • Handling incoming calls, texts, emails from prospective clients who seek to be involved in sports
  • Providing gym tours and talk about fitness goals of prospective clients
  • Tracking the goals, details, and demographics of prospective clients
  • Advanced Sales Training will be provided
Customer Service
  • Greeting customers and directing them to have a great experience during the pursuit of their goals
  • Handle incoming calls, texts, emails, concerns of enrolled clients to receive and execute on feedback of their experience
  • Encouraging clients to stay on track with their goals by joining in participation of classes, social media groups, and potential extra-curricular events
  • Occasional assistance to trainers on cleanliness, organization and housekeeping of training studio
Social Media
  • Recording, basic editing, and posting of content on behalf of Calgary Kickboxing Academy on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Facebook Group (Private)
  • Answering inquiries, comments, tags on social media
  • Social Media Training will be provided
Administration
  • Recording of statistics, details, trends, analytics from social media and client conversations
  • Keeping records of billing, merchandise sales, or other analytics
  • Assisting head trainer in keeping records of training programs, client injuries/modifications, questionnaires

Compensation
  • $15/hour – experience / interview dependent
