With these core values, stability, and controlled growth we expect to be around for a long time in the Southern Alberta land development industry.Pasquini & Associates is seeking an experienced Survey Party Chief (5+ years’ experience) to join our growing geomatics team. Our geomatics group conducts legal surveys (for subdivisions, rights of way, road dedication, etc.), construction surveys, new home construction surveys, topographic/site surveys, and any other survey related services our clients require.Experience and Educational Requirements:  Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Survey Party Chief with at least 3 years’ experiencein the land development industry. Experience as a survey party chief for new homeconstruction projects is an asset. Diploma in geomatics technology or equivalent from an accredited post-secondaryinstitution is preferred. Proficiency in oral and written English communication skills. Ability to interpret survey plans, engineering plans and architectural plans. Working knowledge of GPS, total stations, and electronic data collection equipment. Valid driver’s license (Class 5) must be maintained and is a condition of employment.Responsibilities:  Report to Alberta Land Surveyor/Project Manager. Compliance with Pasquini & Associates’ Health and Safety policies and procedures. Management and oversight of assigned field survey. Conduct legal and construction surveys for subdivisions, rights of way, condominiums(bare land and building), commercial/industrial development, and new homeconstruction. Supervise and mentor Survey Assistant, as required. Uphold and adhere to minimum survey standards as per the ALSA Manual of StandardPractice and Pasquini & Associates’ field surveys policies/practices. Accurate/precise data collection and clear/concise field notes. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks. Maintain strong client communication and management accountability. Equipment maintenance, control, repair, and inventory accountability. Must provide own vehicle for travel to and from job sites. Compensation formileage will be provided. Must provide own cellular phone with data plan. Compensation for cellular planwill be provided.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:
