We made air travel more affordable for Canadians and now were going global.Join us and love where you’re going.As an Advisor within our team, you are a key contact between business functional areas of Technical Operations, leading our CMTS Business Partners, and affected interfaces at WestJet.Reporting to the Manager of Technical Standards and Audit Compliance, you will assist in the analysis, planning and implementation of optimized solutions in support of core organizational functions, business processes, and Computerized Maintenance Tracking System (CMTS) functionality. Your technical and collaboration skills are integral to translate our business requirements.The successful candidate must be able to work in a high paced and demanding environment, as well as identify, design, and deliver mobile training solutions to support the expansion of CMTS mobile platform in Technical Operations.Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and lead our analyst teams
• Proactively liaise with stakeholders identified in WestJet Quality Assurance audit reports to ensure conformance to regulations and policy
• Assist with developing and documenting procedures, and work instructions aligned to business processes
• Design and implement effective training programs that support business processes, technology, regulatory compliance, and operational requirements
• Develop, implement, and maintain interactive eLearning courses for mobile users utilizing LMS software (e.g., Adobe Captivate or other applications)

Education and Attributes Requirement:

• Recognized Degree/Diploma specializing in technical writing, process development, Adult Education, Instructional Design or a related subject is preferred
• Proven ability to quickly learn and interpret business processes
• Previous experience in editing and writing documentation and procedural materials for a technical audience
• Demonstrated skills in graphic design, video, micro-learning, responsive design, gamification, simulations, animation/motion graphics, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Demonstrated instructional design skills (both classroom led and eLearning), paired with strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Demonstrated personal leadership enabling the ability to plan, organize, manage, control, and coordinate a high volume of diverse projects under tight deadlines with a high degree of accountability
• 6-10 years of work experience in a Transport Category environment
• Transport Canada “M, S or E” license (an asset)
• Industry recognized Root Cause Analysis/Corrective Action Training Certification (an asset)

• Must be prepared to travel (investigations, training, etc.)
