Our remarkable team, made up of individuals with unique talents and perspectives, work together each and every day to deliver exceptional, successful projects and experiences for our clients across Western and Northern Canada through innovation and inspiration.Reporting to the Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Manager the VDC Coordinator is a Technical Coordinator responsible for modeling, coordinating, and supporting all BIM/VDC processes throughout Clark Builders. This includes but is not limited to execution planning, construction modeling, 3D coordination, drawing generation, trade coordination, reality capture & Processing, layout, site logistics, and business development content.Our VDC team is a highly collaborative and independent group that focuses on getting the job done. Our culture is driven by direction and a can-do attitude that promotes creative solutions and problem solving. Our working environment will be a mix of onsite and in office work. Our focus is to improve the building process onsite and enhance the construction with accurate digital content.Duties/Responsibilities:BIM / VDCBasic understanding of the process of BIMBasic understanding of general constructionSupport & assist projects with modeling and 3D coordination,Support onsite staff to flush out construction issues utilizing BIM / VDCWork with contractors to receive, coordinate and update all modelsStay informed on BIM use best practicesUnderstanding of building science (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural)ModelingProficient with Revit (Focus on MEP would be an asset)Other capabilities with Sketchup, Archicad, Tekla, BIM360Programming & Visual programing would be an assetLearn new modeling software as requiredCoordinationProficient with NavisworksBIM Project Coordination3D Coordination / Clash detectionCreate drawings from models for site directionContent generation for SurveyQA/QC of Asbuilt ModelsReality CaptureOnsite digital capture using photogrammetry and LIDARPost processing and registrationScan to modeling and model extractionScan analysis for QA/QCSkills & KnowledgeEmbrace and adaptable to new technologyStrong written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of lean would be an assetTechnical mindset and the ability to learn new things is paramountAbility to collaborate with others and work in a team environmentAbility to work with limited supervisionQualification and ExperienceA diploma or degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent with 5+ year’s production experience in design, drafting or engineering.CanBIM Certification would be an assetExposure or understanding of principles of lean thinkingApply now for your exceptional career opportunity!All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without discrimination on the basis of race, colour, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, national or ethnic origin or any other factors prohibited by law.The Clark Builders Group of Companies (CBGOC) is aware of individuals claiming to represent Clark Builders to international job seekers.
