Join us as we strive to instigate a new world!The OpportunityThe WIL (Work Integrated Learning) Coordinator supports the School for Advanced Digital Technology (SADT) by building and fostering SADT’s connections with industry, the local community, and the wider global audience. They contribute to the success of SADT by planning and promoting top-of-the-class events, being a champion for the Expert-In-Residence program with both internal and external stakeholders, and composing compelling, successful grant proposals. They are a catalyst in building School culture through the creation of engaging internal communications. This is a forward-facing position with multiple points of contact with industry, faculty, Academic Chairs, internal SAIT stakeholders, and students. Occasional evening and/or weekend work required.Please submit one document including both a cover letter and resume.Please note this is a hybrid position working 3 days on campus, 2 days remote. Additionally, this is a one year temporary salaried position with benefits.The Role

    • Employer recruitment and education while growing SADT’s industry contacts
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote WIL opportunities including attending industry functions in the evening and off campus
    • Track, analyze, and communicate feedback from industry partners to SADT and SAIT stakeholder
    • Development of resources, materials, and processes for the Expert In Residence program
    • Provide support to Experts in Residence
    • Plan and coordinate events in support of new programs and initiatives
    • Design and compose school materials targeting industry
    • Strategize, design and compose school communications to build culture
    • Assist with school grant proposals including research, writing, and tracking submissions
Qualifications & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma, in communications, event planning, business or related, or a combination of related experience and education
    • Minimum of two years’ experience in event planning, project planning, or communications role
    • Experience in post-secondary, government, IT or media industry would be an asset
    • Experience in proposal writing would be an asset
    • Experience in design
