Brentwood, 830 - 3630 Brentwood Rd NW, Calgary, Alberta, Canada Req #459Wednesday, June 23, 2021Canada Diagnostic Centres (CDC) is a multi-modality diagnostic imaging provider committed to delivering Exceptional Patient Care in the medical imaging field. Since 1993, CDC has been providing patients and health care professionals with advanced diagnostic imaging of the body’s most important organs and systems.CDC offers MRI, CT, Ultrasound 2D/3D and 4D real-time, Mammography, Pain Management, Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, X-Ray and Kids Imaging services across 16 community clinics in Calgary, Edmonton, Okotoks and Sherwood Park.Responsible for assisting with patient turn over and supporting the X-ray technologist with fluoroscopy procedures.Posting closes Wednesday July 7, 2021Responsibilities:Ensure efficient patient workflow by bringing up patient information, cleaning and setting up the fluororoom, making sterile trays, positioning patient and fluoro equipment, and sending images.Monitor timers, do post pain checks, and provide patients with post care instructions.Assist X-ray technologist with injection/UGI procedures as required, fill out and complete exams.Prepare room for next days exams, stock, and clean the fluoro room.Support patient coordinator dutiesOther Responsibilities May Include:Review next day’s worklist to ensure the bookings are correct.Clean RFN probes and maintain autoclave inspections.Order supplies for the X-ray department.Manage patients for UGI exams and show finished cases to the radiologist.Qualifications:Previous medical clinic experience preferred, particularly Diagnostic Imaging.Exceptional Customer Service Skills.Strong sense of empathy and ability to ensure that the Patient is the primary concern always.Exceptional communication skills when dealing with patients, clients, and colleagues.Courteous and professional telephone manner.Must be able to multi-task.Strong attention to detail and ability to work well with multiple interruptions.Able to work in a team environment and willing to look outside the scope of job duties.Good interoffice communication skills.Canada Diagnostic Centres is committed to attracting and developing a diverse and inclusive workforce.
