Job Description

Auditors are responsible for ensuring proper controls are in place to protect company assets. You will perform several varying duties throughout your shift including auditing/reconciling daily paperwork, preparing, and posting journal entries, notifying supervisor of any discrepancies, preparing exception and machine service reports, reviewing slot machine function to ensure proper revenue reporting, and validating that there are controls in place in accordance with Departmental or Internal Control Manuals(s). In addition, you will assist with site payroll as required. You will work under Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) regulations and comply with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures, while promoting and maintaining the utmost integrity and the highest calibre of customer service.The successful candidate will possess:

  • A college diploma or equivalent with focus in Accounting or designation in the Accounting field or comparable working experience in the related fields
  • 1 year of working experience in a related field
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of computer software packages is required (i.e., Excel, etc.)
  • The ability to obtain registration as a Category 2 Gaming Assistant with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario
