Job Description

Position Summary Under the general direction of the Manager, Surveillance, this position is responsible for monitoring the day-to-day activities of Surveillance Officers at the site level as well as monitoring interior and exterior areas of a property by closed circuit television cameras. Ensures adherence to the Company #39;s policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports Great Canadian #39;s learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Key Accountabilities

  • Monitors Surveillance Operators; verifies timesheets; provides input for performance evaluations
  • Monitors, documents and reports violations, larg e cash/cash equivalent transactions, excluded and self-excluded guests and unauthorized access
  • Maintains logs; prepares daily reports; stores records securely for evidence purposes
  • Monitors, documents and reports on the condition of surveillance facilities and equipment; performs preventative maintenance on equipment as required
  • Trains new team members
  • Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
  • Builds strong working relation ships with guests and team members
  • Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
  • Manages other incentives as required
Education and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • Post secondary education in criminology or a suitable combination of education and experience an asset
  • Minimum 2 years of surveillance or security experience; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience; gaming experience preferred
  • Smart Serve certification
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License
  • Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
