Job Description

On behalf of our Public Sector Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Business Analyst to join their team on a remote 18-month contract, available anywhere in Canada.Summary of the Role:The Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting our client’s transition from an on-premise Microsoft environment to cloud platforms, including MS Teams, SharePoint Online, O365, Exchange Online, and OneDrive. The candidate must have deep experience in corporate records governance and migration operations, with a solid understanding of security and data retention policies.Dutiesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in the migration of Microsoft Office products to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Support the client in governance and management of corporate records during the transition.
  • Ensure security and data retention policies are adhered to throughout the migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline migration processes.
Core Requirements:
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Office products (MS Teams, SharePoint Online, O365, Exchange Online, and OneDrive).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting cloud migrations from on-premise Microsoft environments.
  • Strong understanding of corporate records governance and management.
  • Experience with operational impacts during large-scale migrations.
  • Knowledge of security and data retention protocols.
Desired Skillsamp; Experience:
  • Experience working in the Public Sector is an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage client expectations during migration.
Terms: This is an 18-month contract position, fully remote, and open to candidates residing anywhere in Canada. A background check will be required at the offer stage.
