Job Description

Fusion Security continues to grow and provide professional security services throughout the Lower Mainland, with clients in a wide variety of sectors, including government, retail, commercial sites, industrial sites and residential areas. Our mission is to deliver the highest quality service in each interaction that reflects a strong and respectful culture.Fusion Security is seeking high-level security team members who already have their Marine Transportation Security Clearance (MTSC) to work in and around Vancouver. MAJOR DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • High-visibility patrol of assigned areas, on foot and in vehicles
  • Ensure the security of all personnel, visitors, and the general public
  • Respond against theft, trespassing, vandalism, and fire
  • Monitor property access control
  • Investigate and report suspicious behavior, incidents, and security breaches
  • Enforce client policies
  • Communicate with law enforcement, emergency medical personnel, and fire departments
  • Concierge/ administrative duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Valid Security Workers License in the Province of BC
  • MTSC - Marine Transportation Security Clearance (Government Security clearance)
  • Class 5 BC Driver #39;s licence and a reliable vehicle
  • OFA 1 or higher is an asset
  • AST (Advanced Security Training) license is an asset
SKILLSamp; ABILITIES:
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written, including report-writing)
  • Fluent command of the English language
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making skills in sensitive situations and/or emergency incidents
  • Must be able to work independently and as a team member
  • Ability to resolve conflict through negotiation and diplomacy
  • Ability to work in all types of weather and environmental conditions (rain, snow, sun, wind, odorous)
  • Own a smart phone with a data plan on a major carrier (1Gig of data use reimbursed monthly)
