Adventure Guide - Jobs in Canmore, AB

Project Duties/Responsibilities:Under the supervision of the Leader, the intern will:

Guide Tours (Float - Hike - Bike - Wilderness 101 etc)
Create memories and have Fun!
Keep the clients and staff safe!
Tell them about local history, interesting facts, personal stories!
Connect & share experiences
Take photos
Promote the company and the industry (so we can all continue to follow our passion!)
Teach the clients something new and fun
Book adventures for great Canadians and their families
Gain experience operating, managing and guiding
Keep yourself healthy and safe
Think outside the box with regards to client experience(s)
Care for the gear (it’s what we depend on!)
Ask questions, learn how we do things, look for better ways/systems, problem solve, don’t be afraid to do…, stumble and get up again, lead, challenge, grow!
Communicate with our Partners (Hotels, Adventure Companies, Restaurants etc)

Required Qualifications:

Must have sufficient knowledge of computers (booking systems, social media etc)
Be a self-starter; and work well without supervision
Current CPR & First Aid Certification (Wilderness FA - 40Hour or higher, we can train if needed)
Class 4 Drivers Licence as asset, will train if interested.
