Mountain Maternity and Family Medicine is a team of doctors, nurses, staff, and allied health professionals who focus on family medicine and maternity care, based in Canmore, AB. We support families and individuals through all stages of their life, in a professional and safe environment.We are looking for a responsible, dependable, motivated individual keen to work closely with upper management to help shape the clinic culture by balancing clinic efficiencies and promoting a welcoming environment for staff and patients alike. We are enthusiastic to find someone with leadership skills and managerial experience within the medical field, to lead our multi-disciplinary team for years to come.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOur manager is responsible for Human Resources tasks including hiring and training of staff, staff supervision and reviews, and ensuring the clinic is appropriately staffed.They are also responsible for coordinating physician schedules and communicating with clinic physicians regularly about clinic policy changes and updates.Other manager responsibilities include: billing submissions, invoice payment, overhead calculations, redirecting and responding to patient correspondence and to third party contractors (such as IT and cleaners).Competencies:- Excellent written and oral communication, organization and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets- A mind for detail, and improving workflow efficiencies are highly valued- Skills in using healthcare software preferred and common computer systems is essential- Experience in writing policies and procedures- Strong costumer service skillsPreferred Experience:- >2 years in a supervisory or management position- Experience working in Medical Clinic is ideal- Knowledge of business and accounting processes is advantageousReports to:Clinical Leads and Clinic OwnersExpected SalarySalary or hourly wage will vary based on years of experience and education.Expected ScheduleWe are flexible on the work schedule and total number of workdays per week.
