Finance ManagerThe Alpine Club of Canada is seeking a full-time Finance Manager for our National office in Canmore, Alberta.As the organisations senior finance and administrative manager, you will report directly to the Executive Director, ensuring effective direction and implementation of the Club’s finance and accounting functions. Specific responsibilities will include developing and recommending financial policy, coordinating the budgeting process, preparing monthly financial statements, annual returns, payroll, employee benefits, accounts receivable, accounts payable, GST returns, charitable returns and receipting, annual audit, and other duties as required.You are self-directed with a keen eye for detail and readily take initiative to ensure success. You appreciate a casual work environment that emphasizes task-based results, not time-based work. With the ability to articulate complex accounting procedures based on Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, you have a proven record of teamwork and collaboration.
