From the moment that guests walk into the resort and hotel rooms they should be impressed with the well serviced, clean and spotless appearance of the resort in general.Duties and responsibilitiesPOSITION: HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISORLocation: Cline River AB1) Start work mid-May2) End date – weather dependent – Mid September3) Resort provides a room and 3 meals a day; employees pay $400/mo for Room and Board4) Address is AB-11, Cline River, AB (3 1/2 hours from Calgary)5) Prefer hard workers who want to return every year : )6) Interview will be via ZoomPosition Overview: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for the administration, operation and supervision of all staff in the housekeeping department. They promote a positive image of the hotel to guests and fellow employees as well as motivate and guide the staff to ensure all public, employee areas and guest rooms meet established cleanliness and quality standards while ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This position works closely with the Front Desk to mitigate customer complaints.Job Skill, Abilities & Requirements: Customer service experience and well-developed leadership skills· Ability to work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a multi-tasking environment· Proven ability to coach and mentor your Team· Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations· Must be accurate and detailed oriented· Must be able to take accurate inventory on a monthly basis· Must ensure cleaning supplies are always current· Ability to set cleaning policies for Housekeeping Team· Ability to work & thrive in a team-oriented environment.· Ability to work independently· Must be able to stand for long periods of time· Must be able to work a variety of shifts· May require lifting up to approximately 50 Lbs.· Additional tasks as assigned by senior management and work well with the Front Desk· Performing a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping mopping, dusting, polishing and sanitizing· Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards· Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition· Restock room supplies such as drinking glasses, coffee, soaps, shampoos, etc.· Replace dirty linens with clean linens· Respond to guest queries and requests· Respond to calls for Housekeeping problems such as spills, broken glasses, TV issues, etc.· Deliver requested housekeeping items to guest rooms· Organize and restock cart at the end of shift· Maintain the outside upkeep of the building, (washing windows, sweeping and picking up garbage).· Monitor the laundry· Clean Bunkhouse when assigned· Complete any extra jobs or tasks given· Help other departments as requested.· Must be able to complete the cleaning of fifteen (15) roomsRequired Education, Skills and Qualifications
