Job Description

The Grizzly Paw Brewing Company is a craft brewery and brewpub located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Situated in the town of Canmore, the Grizzly Paw Pub & Brewing Company has been in operation since 1996.We are looking for an outgoing and knowledgeable colleague who is willing to learn and ready to provide our customers with memorable experiences!Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Executive, and the Sous Chefs
  • Fun, fast pace environment in the Rockies. It’s a Brewpub!
  • Opening the kitchen, prep for the start of the day
  • Prepares meals according to specifications
  • Stocks stations according to FIFO
  • Regularly cleans and sanitizes stations
  • Maintains cleanliness in all storage spaces
  • Follow all required Health, Safety, Prevention & Sanitation procedures at all times
  • Maintain close and effective working relationship with all supporting departments
  • Provide support and training to colleagues as required
  • Consider the environmental impact in all decisions
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Experience in a high volume kitchen is an asset
  • Conversational English
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Food safe certification is an asset
  • Must be self driven and have great communication skills
