Position DutiesManage all aspects of IGA courses and events, including planning, managing, marketing, developing, administrating, and overseeing programs, instructors, suppliers, and partners.Implement courses and events marketing and sales plan.Liaise with course instructors, suppliers, funding organizations, and students.Manage program budgets and financesCreate, plan and organize professional development programs and events.Organize file systems, policies, and procedures relating to courses and programming.Develop course implementation and procedures manualMaintain confidential records for the organizationBe the face of the IGA in the Canadian Rockies - Canmore areaPerform other related duties in accordance with instructions from the Executive Director.Qualifications and RequirementsStrong computer skills, including:MS Office (specifically: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook).WordPress, WordPress pluginsOnline services such as MailChimp, Survey Monkey, GoogleDrive, Gmail, Canva, etcSocial media savvyImpeccable administration and organizational skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to work independently as a contractor and set own schedule and work planSolutions-oriented: able to troubleshoot problems and find solutionsSelf-motivated, creative, and extremely detail-orientedMust have a solid working laptop computer with up-to-date software including word processing (MS Word or Pages), spreadsheet (Excel or Numbers), presentation (PowerPoint orKeynote).Must be comfortable working as a contractor from home with an adequate (workable) home office situation and access to a printer.Must have a functional cell phone.Must have a good understanding of the Interpretive GuidesAssociation’s goals, objectives, courses, and certifications.A good understanding of non-profit organizations, interpretive guiding, and the guiding industry in Canada and beyond is an asset.Preference will be given to individuals who are certified by theIGA or have actively worked as a guide in the tourism industry.Job Types: Full-time, FreelanceSalary: $25.00-$27.00 per hourBenefits:
