• This position is located in our Canmore Alberta Workshop
• Upon start of employment you be trained on our key processes and procedures.
• Key processes include, but not limited to: The production and assembly/ bottling of various products (sanitizers, lip & body butters, creams, liquid soap products, bar soaps, bath bombs & salts, cleansers, scrubs, etc.)
• Operate automated, semi-automated or manual work stations for mixing, pouring, filling, labeling, packaging products
• Process returned bottles and other packaging through a cleaning and sanitizing procedure as part of Rocky Mountain Soaps Sustainability program
• Adhere to all safety guidelines set out by company including COVID-19 Healthy Team Agreement
• Ensure that all products are produced according to RMSC guidelines and quality requirements
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of line, work space, equipment and workshop

DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU

• You like to be on the move and are capable of handling physical work
• Must be comfortable lifting/handling weight up to 50lbs
• Goal/task-oriented with attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented, self-motivated, self-starter
• Experience in a production environment is an asset (food prep and kitchen work are similar)
• Intermediate written and spoken English skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to learn and adapt easily to new methods
• Competent in basic math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide)
• Comfortable in the use of measuring equipment (weights and volumes)
• Ability to work in a highly scented environment
• Can commit to full-time schedule Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch break
• Looking for candidates with availability as soon as possible. This position status can be discussed upon hire as we are seeking Full Time Permanent employees and/ or Seasonal with the possibility of contract extension as well
