If you love a healthy planet, care about natural ingredients, and want to work in a fun, inclusive environment, then the Rocky family might be the right fit for you!POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead a robust and reliable quality and regulatory compliance team to ensure the highest quality for all products manufactured at Rocky Mountain Soap Co.ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory (Health Canada), customer and internal quality needs
  • Supervise all quality assurance areas (raw materials, packaging, line audit, bulk, finished goods, microbiology), as well as GMP, NHP and cosmetic regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of all formula development, physical testing and specifications as per NHP/GMP/GLP requirements
  • Ensure each formulation conforms to its specifications through testing raw materials/bulk/finished products
  • Investigate and thoroughly document issues that may affect product quality or productivity
  • Implement long-term projects as a preventative measure to improve efficiency and quality
  • Audit and update existing procedures and create new procedures that contribute to an environment of continuous improvement
  • Facilitate regular quality meetings and Quality Management system
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Accredited Educational background in Science (Biochemistry, Pharma, Biology, Engineering), or another quality related field
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience working in the fields of Pharma, Cosmetics, or Food
  • In depth knowledge and experience with cosmetic/NNHPD Health Canada regulations
  • Experience leading teams towards GMP best practices
  • Must be able to work in a highly scented environment
