Job Description

An excellent opportunity with a quickly growing, dynamic business…Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a Service Manager that will be based in our Canmore, AB location.With over 16 dealership and car service locations stretching across Alberta, British Columbia, Montana, and California, the Cam Clark Auto Group is an industry leader in providing outstanding customer experience since 1987, while also striving to offer an amazing employee experience as well!The Service Manager reports to the General Manager and is responsible for overseeing our service and quick lane departments. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exemplary leadership and are a role model for your team by gaining their trust and creating a supportive and accountable environment that brings out their best.You will be accountable for:

  • Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current projects, and managing service team members to ensure the teams objectives and sales goals are met.
  • Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
  • Assisting with or performing administrative tasks, such as managing and updating invoices, processing new orders, and tracking inventory.
  • Monitoring department issues and client complaints to create methods to lessen recurring issues.
  • Auditing work and customer service to ensure the companys high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.
  • Helping to train new employees in company procedures.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the companys adherence to these regulations and remaining current on the industrys standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and processes.
Skills and Desired Qualifications:
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driver abstract.
  • A valid Red Seal Certification as an Automotive Technician
  • Three to five years experience as an Assistant Service Manager or in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Strong industry knowledge.
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skills and time management.
