Job Description

Class 1 Truck Drivers (Seasonal Contract)Road construction season is upon us!We haul asphalt and emulsion until the snow flies and can work with you on a contract duration/rotation that meets your needs. Contracts range from 4-8 weeks in duration.Seasonal drivers are provided return airfare OR mileage.Product: Asphalt and EmulsionRate of Pay: $29.83 - $31.40/hour

  • Pay is per trip. Trip pay is equivalent to established hourly rates with excess load/unload/delay time paid at work rate of $29/hr.
Duration: 4-8 weeks per contract depending on driver’s availabilityJob Location: Manitoba, BC, Alberta, and SaskatchewanOther Notables
  • Hotels for on-road resets
  • 3% of gross earnings paid upon completion of the contract (adhere to incident-free driving)
  • Primarily pulling Super-B tankers
  • Paid product training and certification
  • Company paid H2S course
  • Opportunity to extend to full-time or full-time rotational following successful seasonal contract
You bring
  • Min. 2 years’ Class 1/AZ tractor-trailer highway driving experience
  • Abstract considers past 3-5 years, depending on infraction
  • Willingness to have respirator fit test (requires driver to be clean shaven)
Other Requirements:
  • successful candidate must pass through on-site company paid Job Abilities Assessment, Alcohol and Drug screen, and criminal & reference background check.
  • Required to wear specific PPE including FR coveralls.
