Job Description

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Distribution Coordinator on a temporary (up to 12 months) basis at our Propane Branch in Carman, Manitoba.Who we are:As a co-operative, we do business differently. To learn more about who we are, visit www.fcl.crs.What you’ll do:You will coordinate the delivery of orders to propane customers while ensuring compliance with National Safety Code standards, FCL policy, and other regulations, provide a high level of customer service, lead and supervise the driver sales team, and track operational results.Propane Distribution and Customer Service

  • You will focus on load optimization and monitor and track delivery routes daily.
  • You will ensure that the preventive maintenance program is being performed on each delivery unit and all required inspections are completed and documented in the filing system.
  • You will collaborate daily with the Co-op Refinery Complex and 3rd party Transporters to ensure sufficient product is allocated and delivered in a timely manner. This is achieved by maintaining the Allocation Worksheets in a timely manner.
  • You will ensure that all inquiries from existing customers or concerns regarding deliveries are resolved and handled in an efficient and timely manner.
Operationalization of Safety and Compliance Programs
  • You will ensure that all driver personnel have received proper training to perform their duties.
  • You will track and monitor indicators related to safety and compliance including, ensuring sign offs are complete (and filed), monitoring hours of service, near miss reports, fleet and site inspections, HSE audits, instruct and assist Drivers in the completion of daily FLHA, truck inspections (pre & post).
  • You will ensure that all Near Miss and Incident Investigations processes/reports are completed, necessary corrective actions have been completed, and that injury and return to work processes are followed and managed correctly. managed accordingly.
Supervision
  • You will supervise, guide, and direct all driver personnel on a day-to-day basis.
  • You will support the Talent Management process for direct reports including Talent Acquisition and Performance Management.

  • You have a High School Diploma.
  • You have 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in the Ag and/or Petroleum Industries is an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • You have a Class 3A license. A class 1A license is considered an asset but is not required.
  • PTI Trainer Certification is considered an asset.
  • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
