You are a team player whose creative spirit adds to the show as a whole.This is a temporary full-time position until April 30 2023.Your role:With direction from the “Island Morning” Producer, the associate producer participates in the production, direction and/or post production of the Charlottetown morning show. This includes booking and researching interviews, editing interviews, as well as producing articles, photos and video for the station website and social media. Work must adhere to CBC journalistic and/or program policies, practices and standards. Initiative and independent judgement are required. There is often a requirement to coordinate the activities of others.The successful candidate will help develop strategies that bring the best of the program’s content to digital platforms including emerging social media platforms and actively participates in using those platforms to share stories.Key tasks:
