We’re hiring a Brewing/Blending Assistant!Wage: $16-18/hrWorking at UpstreetWe are looking for someone who would like to begin a career in the Craft Brewing industry! Upstreet Craft Brewing is looking for an eager, motivated individual to join our brewing team. Reporting to the Lead Brewer, the Brewery Assistant will be responsible for maintaining various tasks in production. This is a full time position, with several areas within the company to grow into. Our goal is to help you work towards your career goals, whether that is in brewing, packaging, logistics, or a host of other areas within the craft beverage industry.The duties will include cleaning fermenters, brite tanks, parts and canning line, cleaning and filling kegs, weighing and milling grain, setting up tanks for beverages, blending ready to drink beverages and general brewery cleaning and sanitization. Other crossover tasks in brewing, packaging, and warehousing may be required as requested by the lead brewer or production manager. Hours will typically be 35-45 hrs/week.Brewery hours are typically 6AM-6PM during peak production. The successful candidate will work 8hr shifts within the hours of operation.
