Job Description

Centennial Carstar in Charlottetown is growing and we are looking for an organized, motivated individual to join our team as Car Rental Assistant!NOW HIRING: Car Rental AssistantLOCATION: Centennial Carstar in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.HOURS: Full time, 40 hours per week.WAGES: $15.00 -$20.00 per hour + benefits. (Negotiable based on experience)THE PERFECT FIT:You have a passion for helping people and providing stellar customer service. You enjoy working with a strong team with a fast paced reputable company. You have a positive attitude and enjoy learning new skills.APPLICABLE SKILLS/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extremely strong customer service and phone skills required
  • Exceptional written, verbal and computer skills
  • Must be reliable and show initiative
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Applicant must be organized, capable of multitasking, prioritizing, working independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Valid driver’s license
MAIN JOB TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide quotes to customers and book car rental reservations
  • Help maintain the organization of the rental fleet
  • Assisting customers throughout the entire rental process
  • Work with other locations to prevent scheduling conflicts
  • Answer and directing telephone calls appropriately
  • Take and relay messages if necessary
  • Greet everyone in a professional, helpful and timely manner
  • Scheduling customer appointments/ updating clients
  • Filing invoices
