Timeline Part time shifts during July - August. Shifts that fit your schedule. Accommodations (room if needed) and meals are provided in addition to pay. Pay: $110-$175 per day based on qualifications, experience, ability.The Role: In consultation with the Directors, part time cooks assist with preparation and cooking of meals, assist with listing all necessary food to order, and helping to oversee the meals that are served.They will be informed of and make the necessary accommodations for dietary requirements and food allergies. During their shift, they will ensure the camp is following all regulations for food safety as set out by the Department of Environmental Health. They will help oversee kitchen volunteers and direct them as appropriate.Qualifications Experience with planning and ordering food, and working in a kitchen is preferred. Qualifications or equivalent experience in culinary arts and food safety is preferred. Experience with cooking in a summer camp environment (or camp-like setting) is an asset.
