Job Description

Our Charlottetown automotive dealership is looking for a motivated and team-oriented Financial Services Advisor to fill a maternity leave position until May 31, 2023.This position involves offering and selling vehicle financing, insurance packages, extended warranties and other value-added products to new and used vehicle buyers. The chosen candidate will work with customers and our Sales team to complete purchase or lease transactions.This position requires a high degree of confidentiality and strict privacy standards. The right candidate will possess top-notch customer service skills, an ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and a drive to contribute to our overall growth and success.The responsibilities of a Financial Services Representative include but are not limited to: · Offering vehicle financing and insurance to customers and providing them with a thorough explanation of extended warranties and manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies;· Seeking new lending institutions and maintaining good working relationships to secure competitive interest rates and financing programs;· Processing financing and leasing deals accurately and securing approval through proper regulated channels (i.e. Ford, bank, etc.);· Understanding and complying with federal, provincial and local regulations that affect the new and used-vehicle and finance departments;· Training and providing the Sales team with information on finance and lease programs and the benefits of the dealership’s financing and extended service programs;· Ensuring that all purchase agreements, bills of sale, finance contracts, lease agreements, applications for registration and all other documents necessary for the completion of a vehicle sale or lease are completed accurately and in full compliance;· Selling warranties, financial and insurance products, and accessoriesQualifications and Skills· Undergraduate degree/diploma, or· Experience in sales or finance is an asset· Strong background in sales, business, and/or marketing an asset· Strong computer skills· Impeccable attention to detail· Ability to follow process and directions· Exceptional customer service skills· Outgoing personality with the ability to develop relationships quickly· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks on a daily basis· Possess a desire to succeed and exceed targets· Experience in the automotive industry an asset· Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s licenseThis (maternity leave) position will be Temporary Full-Time until May 31, 2023 with the potential for further employment within the dealer group.
