Here, you can: shape the future of insurance, win as a team, and grow with us.About the roleWe are looking for a responsible Group Benefits Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.Duties of the Group Benefits Assistant include providing support to our team of agents by assisting in daily office needs and managing our day to day general administrative activities.What you’ll do here:

  • Maintain spreadsheets with client information
  • Organize and distribute cards to clients
  • Distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports
  • Maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Liaison with external companies tracking pick up and deliveries
  • Maintain contact list
  • Copy and maintain stock enclosures for outgoing mail.
  • Provide general support to team
  • Other related duties
QualificationsWhat you bring to the table:
  • Proven experience as a Group Benefits Assistant
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong keyboarding skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • High School Diploma; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant will be asset

  • Salary: Salary range for this role starts at $37, 000, your salary will be determined based on your experience, anticipated autonomy in the role while considering internal equity.
