  • Salary Range: $47,000 to $80,000A number of factors are considered when determining a starting salary for our new team members, including length and depth of relevant work experience, skillset, and education & training. Our salary ranges are reviewed on an annual basis.
If this sounds like a work environment you’d thrive in, you might be a great fit for our team!We are currently seeking a Property Paralegal to join our team based in our Charlottetown, PE office.Type of Position: Full-Time, PermanentClose Date: Tuesday, September 6, 2022The Opportunity:An integral member of our property team, the Firm’s Property Paralegals are responsible for providing a broad range of real property paralegal support to the Business Department.In particular, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and organizing real property files, including file management activities, preparing correspondence and documents, as well as reviewing title searches as appropriate, assisting with drafting or responding to title requisitions where required, and maintaining a database of title abstracts.The successful candidate will also be responsible for administering funds on closing, requisitioning cheques, reconciling trust account funds, and communicating with key stakeholders such as clients, agencies, lenders, other law firms, tax authorities, government offices, insurance companies, and surveyors.Additional responsibilities may include assisting with post-closing documents, following up on undertakings, arranging registration documents with the appropriate registry office, documenting and entering time records on files, and other duties as assigned.If you are a paralegal or legal administrative professional, with strong computer skills and excellent organizational and communications abilities, we want to hear from you!
