OPEN POSITIONPSYCHOEDUCATORCOMPETITION NUMBERCHI-3991LOCATION OF WORKCHISASIBI – High SchoolNATURE OF WORKThe occupation of psychoeducator include, inparticular, the detection, identification andevaluation of school related problems or problems ofsocio-emotional behavior and to carry out or assistteachers to carry out reeducation programs or re-adaptation programs with students having learningproblems through individual or group therapy.CHARACTERISTIC FUNCTIONSThrough the use of measuring techniques andinstruments that are proper to his discipline thepsycho-educator evaluates the student’s behaviorbrought to his attention by the first observations ofthe teachers which reveal a possibility ofmaladjustment at the socio-emotional level or at thenormal learning process level;He participates, with the appropriatemultidisciplinary team, in the study of cases so as todetermine the necessary measures for re-education.He refers certain cases to specialized clinics, ifnecessary;He regroups the students that are identified as havingcommon problems and meets these groups on aregular basis for specific activities;He meets certain students having specific problemsin order to help their integration in a reeducationgroup or their integration in a regular group;POSTE OUVERTPSYCHOÉDUCATEURNO.
