Job Description

We are looking for a Dental Receptionist who has some assisting skills. Our downtown office is close to the subway line and open Monday to Friday.The ideal candidate will be able to multitask and deal in a generous and compassionate manner with all kinds of patients in all kinds of circumstances.Job Details:

  • Although this position is primarily reception, assisting the dentist in the operatory will be required from time to time.
  • You must be personable, friendly, and have a strong work ethic.
  • We are looking for a team player with a love of dentistry and the desire to improve every patient #39;s smile.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of Canadian dental experience.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal is mandatory.
  • HARP certification would be a definite asset.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with dental codes and terminology.
  • Understanding of specialized dental treatments.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are mandatory.
Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Knowledge of Abeldent software.
  • Maintaining the office in a neat, sterile, and tidy manner.
  • Accounts receivable and collections.
  • Booking appointments and recalls.
  • Dealing with insurance companies regarding claims.
  • General administrative dental work.
  • Sending and receiving mail and packages.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Assisting the dentist in providing patient care.
  • Sterilizing instruments.
PPE provided.
