EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Qualifications and Certifications:• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems or education.• Microsoft Certified Trainer certification or equivalent is an asset.• Knowledge of ITIL best practices and certification.Experience and Skilled Knowledge Requirements• 4-6 years of IT industry experience.• 2-4 years direct IT training related experience • Experience with staff development and/or human resources management.• Experience analyzing organizational training needs and defining programs and materials to support those needs.• Hands-on knowledge of enterprise and desktop applications• Proven experience with adult learning principles, methodologies, and course design techniques.• Prior use of training tools in support of end-user training.• Knowledge of trends in computer technology relating to software.• Experience with building and maintaining course material.• Good understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.Competencies• Takes appropriate accountability and/or ownership of tasks based on level of experience and length of time in role.• Self-motivated and able to manage priorities with moderate supervision.• Proactively looks for and addresses opportunities for efficiencies and/or improvements within their direct level of authority and/or the IT organization.• Proven ability to adapt and function effectively within a changing organization environment. • Ability to conduct research into course development and delivery concepts, as well as technical software issues.Personal Attributes• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including instructional and presentation skills.• Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on motivational skills and positive attitude.• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.• Self-motivated and directed.• Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.• Very strong customer service orientation.• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Job Requirements:End User Training, In-Service Training, Instructor-Led Training, Application Support, Principles, Illustrate Material, Informational Materials, Instructional MaterialRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
