Ref ID: 05060-0012437650Classification: Purchasing CoordinatorCompensation: DOEWe are looking for a highly-skilled and motivated Buyer for a large growing organisation in the Metro Vancouver area. This unique Buyer opportunity would enable you to be involved in the overall Bidding process for the company. You would be responsible for the competitive bid process, RFP #39;s, Contractual agreements and supporting vendors. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of vast team and support operations. This Buyer role is a long-term contract opportunity and is located in the Vancouver, British Columbia area.Responsibilities:

  • End to end Managment of the competitive Bidding
  • Formulate and write an RFP #39;s and RFQ #39;s
  • Researching and exploring metrics and reporting to the Procurement team
  • Fielding all enquiries from vendors and overall communication throughout the bidding process
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Buyer preferably working in the Public sector
  • Completion of a Diploma in Material Management, Business Management or Public Administration, or equivalent.
  • Ability to prepare RFQs, RFP’s, and Tenders.
  • Proficient in the use of computer applications including Word, Excel and SharePoint
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Time management and organization
