Ref ID: 05060-0012456544Classification: Project Manager/Sr. ConsultantCompensation: $40.00 to $65.00 hourlyDo you have experience working as a Project Manager on a data integration Robert Half has been engaged by a client of ours in the financial sector who are in immediate need of a Technical Project Manager for a 18-month, remote contract. This person will play a pivotal role in the merging of four key databases due to a recent acquisition. Presently, both businesses have two primary databases. The first holds all their transactional data and the second acts as their warehouse which is predominantly used for analytics. This Project Manager will ensure that each individual business units requests (tickets logged in Jira) achieve their milestones.What you #39;ll do:

  • Field database related requests from various subsidiaries business units
  • Create detailed tickets in JIRA then track progress and update tickets as needed
  • Prioritize open tickets
  • Provide regular communication to key stakeholders on progress; amend timelines as needed when milestones are to be missed and communicate to all stakeholders
  • Lead scrum meetings meetings for 4 sub teams (DBA’s, analysts, developers)
Job Requirements:
  • Experience as a Project Manager on a database integration, ideally in a complex enterprise-sized environment
  • Expert level knowledge of JIRA and Confluence, understand workflows and administration
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Possess a basic understanding of Data Architecture (Warehousing, lake, ETL, pipelines, etc)
  • Experience working in a Agile environment
  • Scrum Master Certification an asset
