Canada Silver Cobalt Works – Exploration Geologist The Company: Canada Silver Cobalt Works is a small but unique and rapidly growing company. With high-grade silver, cobalt, nickel, copper, and gold exploration properties across Ontario and Quebec, we are well positioned for success in both the precious metals and battery metals sectors.In May 2020, the company released the first-ever resource in the greater Cobalt Camp. A total of 7.56 million ounces of silver in Inferred resources comprising very high-grade silver (8,582 grams per tonne un-cut or 250.2 oz/ton). With continuing success in 2021 and 2022, the future is promising.Job Title: Exploration GeologistJob Overview: We are looking for an exploration geologist to help assist our exploration team. The candidate will be primarily working out of Cobalt, ON, and working on a rotation schedule which is typically comprised of 15 days on, and 13 off. The schedule is flexible depending on the work requirements and location of each project. Room and board will be included if the candidate is not local or if the tasks assigned requires an overnight away from the provided housing. Primary duties will be related to drilling, core logging, and field work.Job duties may include: 1) Drill hole planning, drill hole tracking, monitoring, and spreadsheet tracking2) Lithological and geological identification and interpretation3) 3D geological modelling, digitizing data and/or maps4) Moving core, logging, core, geoteching core5) Drill line-ups, spotting holes, capping holes, surveying6) Assisting with field exploration and/or prospecting7) Communicating regularly with geological team8) Other various duties designated by the exploration manager9) Compiling and digitizing historic data10) Position may require occasional work outside the regular workday and a flexible schedule11) Travelling to different properties around Ontario and Quebec12) Following company procedures and policiesCompensation: Compensation will be competitive, 3 weeks’ vacation equivalent at 6%, mileage at $0.50/km if not local.Ideal Start Date: ASAPJob Types: Full-time, Fixed term contractSalary: $42.00-$48.00 per hourSchedule:
