Job Description

We welcome you to be part of our college community of employees who are Rocky Mountain Inspired, Small College Proud.Upgrading for Academic and Career Entry Program Instructor Auxiliary - On-call/as requiredDuties: To provide instruction and learner support to students in the Upgrading for Academic and Career Entry (UACE) Program at the developmental level (grades 10-12). The faculty member will instruct adult students primarily in the areas of developmental Math and English. Instruction in other courses such as Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and Education and Career Planning courses up to a grade 12 level may also be required. Instruction will involve assisting a diverse range of students, including students with learning and/or life challenges. Courses are primarily taught/delivered in the classroom face-to-face via a directed study (self-paced) format, although some online instruction may be required. Qualifications: An undergraduate degree in Science, Math, English or Education with a focus on the teaching of individuals with literacy concerns is required.
