Job Description

About the Job:Marcon Metalfab (www.marconmetalfab.com) is hiring an Accounts Payable team member to join our growing and dynamic company based in Delta’s Tilbury Park.Duties include:

  • Vendor invoice entries in a paperless system
  • Manager approvals
  • Purchase order adjustments
  • Credit card reconciliations
  • Sales tax and foreign currency adjustments
  • Vendor statements
  • Vendor inquiries
  • Cheque and EFT/ACH runs
  • Month end support
Skills and Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role
  • Experience with Sage 300 is an asset
  • Maturity and professionalism to handle confidential employee and financial data
  • High computer literacy and efficiency to handle high volume of work, with a minimum typing speed of 40WPM
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven and continuous improvement team environment
  • Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a strong team player
