Together, we remain unified by the core values that have grounded us and kept us focused on our goal of building customers for life.Accountability – Autonomy – Excellence – Humility – RespectAbout the Role:Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction, building relationships with customers, vendors, and partner businesses, and acting as the liaison between our customers and our services teams/fleet. Key focus areas include, but are not limited to:Business Development and Customer Relationships

  • Act as a communication channel to bridge existing and new customers to our fleet of equipment;
  • Identify, qualify, and actively follow through with incoming requests;
  • Build relationships and forecast equipment needs along with the leadership and service teams;
  • Proactively seek and develop new customer prospects by utilizing existing resources, networks, associations and connections, under the guidance of the General Manager;
  • Initiate conversations to seek customer feedback and generate new ideas to drive revenue;
  • Analyze customer base and maintain a data driven approach to track business development opportunities.
Market Intelligence
  • Participate in and represent Grey Wolf at industry events and career fairs and maintain Grey Wolfs presence with relevant business associations and organizations;
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to showcase employer brand and increase Grey Wolf’s position as a top employer in the equipment rental industry;
  • Stay up to date with industry market trends, technology, and competitors.
What you Bring:The ideal candidate is not only highly motivated to build relationships with our field leadership but understands the overall picture of what vertical integration and the equipment rental business really mean. You understand that this is not just about getting a customer’s sale, but about the long-term partnership of two growing organizations. You also have a strong understanding of your role as a key player in building Greywolf’s brand and relationships with existing and down-the-line, new customers. You not only have Greywolf’s best interest in mind but the internal and external customers as well. You are always following through with an opportunity by acting as a communication channel between the customer and Greywolf’s service team. Ultimately, you are excited to become part of Greywolf Equipment and thrive in a highly competitive, positive yet fun environment.Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum five (5) years of inside or outside sales role, preferably in B2B construction business;
  • Experience in Rental Equipment will be considered an asset;
  • Highly driven and patient to build trusted relationships and work well with others;
  • Strong understanding of service-oriented approach;
  • Able to effectively communicate, both verbal and written;
  • Comfortable working independently and on the road for the majority of the day;
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License with a clean record.
  • Academic background in Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field will be considered an asset.
