ESTIMATOR (TECHNICAL SALES AND FABRICATION DESIGN)(Hiring Immediately)Why Custom CubesCustom Cubes is a dynamic, innovative, and customer-centric workplace. Not only estimating projects and creating price quotations an Estimator with Custom Cubes is met with the unique challenges that come with custom modification. From designing new products to completing the research and development the Estimator is innovative, forward-thinking, and eager. Always looking for ways to improve process, the Estimator is communicative, accountable and a team player.Health and Safety is every employee’s responsibility. All employees are required to follow Custom Cubes’ safety standards and carry out all tasks with a safety-focused attitude and behaviours.Responsibilities:

  • Prepares estimates; costing and pricing for project builds for jobs outside of the sales team’s scope.
  • Effectively communicates with customers on project scope, estimates, pricing, concerns.
  • Oversees sales team’s estimations, providing guidance as needed.
  • Addresses customer concerns regarding project scoping, estimates, pricing, etc.
  • Achieves growth and meets sales targets by successfully supporting the sales team.
  • Builds and promotes strong, long-lasting customer relationships by adopting a customer-centric approach.
  • Identifies market changes and trends including opportunities and threats by presenting them to Custom Cubes’ partners.
  • Sources materials for projects, as necessary, following Custom Cubes’ best practices and identifying preferred vendors.
  • Develop and design new products/custom requests.
  • Draft layout drawings and detailed drawings as required to communicate intent.
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience using drafting software.
  • Demonstrated experience drawing layouts using Sketch Up Layout, or similar software.
  • Industry expertise, as demonstrated by experience in metal fabrication, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge of the construction industry.
  • Team-oriented attitude.
  • Learning and growth mindset; willing to undergo training if necessary.
  • Strong business sense.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and well organized.
