Job Description

Our Delta and Annacis BC facility is looking to hire General Laborers and Material Handlers to join our expanding team!You will make a great fit if you have a background in a fast paced distribution environment and can work efficiently in a warehouse setting. Previous order picking experience is considered an asset. As an Order Picker you will be accurately picking, prepping and packing products for shipment, loading and unloading trucks and supporting where needed as a floater. This role requires urgency, efficiency, attention to detail and comfortability handling parts up to 50 pounds.Shift: Monday-Friday; flexible schedule availableTime: 8:00am-4:30pm; flexible shifts availableWage: $19-$23 an hour (depending on experience)Area: Delta and Annacis Island, BCThis is a full-time position, the ideal candidate will need to be available to start immediatelyTransit accessibleYou have Steel Toe BootsYou are legally permitted to work Fulltime in British ColumbiaAdvantages

Responsibilities
  • Order picking and packing using RF Scanner
  • Material handling; Loading and unloading trucks
  • Assembling pallets of products for inventory requests including wrapping orders and preparing them for shipping
  • Ensuring items are accurately picked and identified to avoid discrepancies
  • Adhering to all safety and equipment regulations, and maintaining a clean work environment
  • Utilizing an electric pallet jack to maneuver through the warehouse
  • General warehouse maintenance and up keep
- Pallet-Jack use/ Sit down counterbalance- not required but would be an assetQualifications
  • You bring a minimum of 6 months in a warehouse or fast paced distribution environment
  • You are capable to work in a fast paced distribution environment with speed, reliability and accuracy
  • Fast Learner and can work with efficiency
  • Can use an RF Scanner
  • Can follow set of instructions and safety procedures as required
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques
  • Ability to carry, lift, move product/supplies in excess of 50lbs
  • Able to stand for 8 hours per shift
  • Have strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • You can pass a background check and provide references
  • Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
