Im looking for a Landscape Assistant who can assist with lawn cutting, edging, various garden work and other general labor duties.This position would start in a few days and would go until late Oct to mid November. Other duties that may be required would be power washing and other general labor work as required.The successful applicant must have:- have a positive attitude-good command of the English language- be very reliable and committed- be a team player- excellent people skills is a must- be a motivated person- pay attention to detail and being able to work independently- previous gardening experience would be an asset- previous experience using gas powered lawn equipment is preferred- hold a valid BC drivers license is preferred unless living in Ladner or Tsawwassen.- be able to work independently if required- must be OK with a criminal record check.- must be healthy i.e. no chronic medical issues etc as the job is physicalI would like the ideal candidate to live in Ladner, North Delta or the Tsawwassen areas. Other communities may be considered.Hours are only casual/part time at this time but as business increases, the hours may also be adjusted if required.One would be considered who is already working part time, semi retired or going to school (university or college) but hours must be available during the week days during the day time hours of 10:30 to 4:00pm.(not the whole time frame)The majority of work is mostly Tuesday, Wed and Friday on one, two or three of those days.The odd Saturday may be required but not mandatory.COVID-19 precaution(s):
