Job Description

Is this job for you:Do you believe in putting the customer firstDo you have a class 1 license and experience driving a 5 ton truckWELCOME HOME!The Brick is actively seeking to expand our fleet team. We need enthusiastic people with a great customer focused attitude! Join our Fleet team and be a part of a 3-time winner of the Top Fleet Employers as named by Trucking HR Canada! This role is required to work Monday - Friday, with weekends off.Responsibilities:

  • Make product transfers from the distribution center to the stores in Kelowna, Kamloops, Penticton and Vernon. Highway driving is required year round.
  • Shunt trailers in the yard as needed
  • Process an inspection of the vehicle and trailer to make sure everything is in accordance within the laws
  • Update delivery status
  • Perform minor maintenance on the truck
Qualifications:
  • Class 1 drivers license and and clean abstract
  • High school diploma
  • Have 1 year of job-related experience
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service and to represent the company well
  • To be able to solve the problems adequately or to refer to the resource persons to solve them
  • Know how to organize and prioritize work according to needs
