  • The batch mixer is responsible for operating and controlling the blending machine
  • Measuring ingredients, mixing the batches, and accurate documentation
  • Monitoring the blending process to ensure the quality of the mix
  • Ensuring the batches are mixed to meet the production requirements as per instructions
  • Ability to learn & operate; shear mixers, pumps, processing valves, process controls, etc.
  • Ability to operate manual/electric pallet jack
  • Ensuring proper sanitation protocols are followed
Qualifications:
  • Good communication including reading, writing, & speaking
  • Able to work unsupervised, as well as working together with others
  • Good organizational & mathematical skills
  • Able to accurately measure & record ingredients
  • Strong mechanical aptitude/troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge/experience in food industry an asset
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
