Job Description

PPI is a processor of post-consumer and post-industrial plastic. We are dedicated and committed to providing environmental services for the packaging industry in an economically efficient, environmentally sound, and socially responsible fashion.PPI is looking for Maintenance Purchaser with experience on Planning, Scheduling and strong experience on Purchasing.Bonus:$400 after 1040 hours - around 6 months of employment$400 after 2080 hours - around 12 months of employmentResponsibilities and requirements:

  • Responsible for Purchasing all equipment/tools after due diligence with the Maintenance Manager
  • Collaborate with the Planning team in order for timely purchase of all maintenance requirements.
  • Oversee work demands, preventative maintenance exercises, work requests and assignment plans, materials, and bills of materials BOMs) utilizing Computerized MaintenanceManagement System (CMMS). Experience working with CMMS.
  • Understanding Preventive Maintenance
  • Co-ordinate maintenance activities to ensure minimum interruption to the manufacturing process, while ensuring that work performed maximizes operational run time
  • Schedule the work orders based on the availability of parts and while maintaining the required backlog
  • Co-operate closely with the seniors in the allocation of resources and the exchange of information
  • Interface with suppliers of raw materials and tools to establish engineering requirements for production
  • Ensure documents, scopes of work, engineering drawings, material lists, purchase orders, permits, and contracts are properly executed prior to commencing work activities
  • Track performance and maintain accurate reports
  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedure complying with legal regulations
  • Mechanical Engineer with Project Management experience.
